About Us

PureMalt Products Ltd is an independent, privately owned company located at Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland. The company has evolved and transformed over the past 40 years from flour Milling and Malting into specialized production of refined Malt Extracts. 

Under the leadership of Bruce Turner, Managing Director and Tommy Thomson, Commercial Director, a team of 65 produce a unique range of refined malt extracts for the Food and Beverage Industries in more than 50 countries worldwide.

In-house skills include all aspects of Production, Technical innovation, Quality management, Engineering, Administration and Customer Support. A culture of Kaizen drives all elements of the business in it's quest to anticipate customer needs and develop solutions. Proportionally large resources are allocated to product development, new technologies and capital expenditure.

A world leader in the manufacturing of specialty malt extracts, specifically roast extracts, PureMalt was awarded 'Food Ingredient of the year' - 1986. We are now at the forefront of production for clarified malt extracts.
