Lemon and Butter Carrots

Carrots with added flavour!  These can be served at any time.  I will be serving with for our Thanksgiving Dinner this year

Ingredients

Measure

Carrots

500g

Butter

60g

Lemon

1

Salt

To taste

 

Method:

1)  Peel wash and cut carrots into batons roughly the same size (you can buy ready cut carrot batons from any supermarket if you are short of time)

2)  Bring to boil in lightly salted water

3)  Reduce to simmer and add butter to pan

4)  When tender, drain and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the batons

5)  Serve in a warm dish
