Banana Ghouls.

Ingredients:

Obviously this will depend on how many you are catering for.

1 x bunch ready to eat bananas.

1 x small packet chocolate chips.

1 x packet blueberries

1 x lemon (juice of to prevent bananas discolouring)

A few toothpicks broken in half to secure the blueberries.

Peel required amount of bananas and lightly dip into juice of lemon. Place on to kitchen roll to absorb the excess lemon juice. You can cut bananas in half however I tend to think the longer the better they look.

About half an inch down from tip of banana stick in two chocolate drops, they have a pointy end which skewers nicely into banana flesh. This is the eyes.

To secure the Blueberry as a nose, use the broken in half toothpick. I know it means you will have to be careful when the kids come to eat them but there isn't any other way of securing them tightly enough. Ive tried a few different ways but this is the one that works.

I have also tried to use the Curlywurly bits as mouths trying to secure them with melted chocolate but sadly they don't stick. Shame but they still look good without them.

Kiwi Fruit Zombies.

Ingredients:

Kiwi Fruit

Bag chocolate chips.

bag of Curlywurly pieces.

Cut off the bottom of each fruit so that its level and can stand up. Using your peeler, carefully peel skin in a ragged pattern from bottom to just below top of fruit. This gives an appearance of 'hair'.

Stand each fruit up and select which side will be face then position two chocolate chips as eyes, piercing the pointy end of the chip into flesh of fruit.

Using a broken half of a toothpick skewer a piece of curlywurly and position into fruit as a nose. Thats it! easy as!

Satsuma Pumpkins.

Ingredients:

Bag of Satsumas.

Fresh mint leaves.

Stick of Rhubarb.

Peel Satsumas, making sure you pare away all white pith, so your left with a nice clean orange. Chop about an inch off the Rhubarb stick. Cut down the middle and into small batons. Clean and separate mint leaves.

Once you have prepped the Satsumas place a baton of Rhubarb and some mint leaves into centre of orange to resemble core of Pumpkin.

And thats it folks.... a plate of fresh fruity Halloween Treats for the kids to enjoy.
