Green Beans and Pancetta

A delicious side dish that can be served at any time of year.

 

Recipe:

Ingredients

Measure

Green Beans

200g

Pancetta

250g

Salt & Black Pepper

To taste

 

Method:

1)  Wash green beans

2)  Top and tail green beans and cut to same length
 
3)  Cook in a pan of salted water and cook until soft
 

4)  While green beans are cooking, brown pancetta in a separate pan, grind some black pepper over it

5)  Drain green beans and add to pancetta pan, mix through and leave on a low heat for 5 mins to allow the green beans to absorb the oils

6)  Turn into a warm serving dish
