    Garlic Smashed Red Potatoes

The perfect addition to a thanksgiving meal or as an alternative to roast potatoes. I always use small red potatoes for this recipe as they work better.

    Recipe:

    Ingredients

    Measure

    Red Potatoes

    1kg

    Garlic Butter

1 tsp per potato or as much as you decide!

    Salt & Black Pepper

    To taste

    Method:

    1)  Preheat the oven to 200°C

    2)  Wash and check over potatoes, keep the skin on

    3)  If the potatoes are large, cut them into similar sizes

    4)  Cook in a pan of salted water and cook until tender

    5)  Drain and place on a baking sheet

    6)  Leave to cool slightly

    7)  Gently smash each potato so that the top crushes down

    8)  Spoon garlic butter over the top of each potato

    9)  Season with salt and black pepper

    10)  Place the potatoes in the oven for 15-20 mins or until the top is turning brown and crispy
