Sugar |

Worcestershire Sauce |

Method:
1) Finely chop onions into slithers
2) Add to pan with butter and a dash of olive oil
3) Cook slowly until soft and translucent and most of the moisture has cooked off
4) Once the onions are soft sprinkle over the sugar, add the Worcestershire sauce and cook until they start to turn golden and dark. Be careful not to let them burn!
5) Once cooled these can be kept in the fridge for a few days
